Holiday Workshops
Focused skill-building across one to three days — with a real speech at the end of it.
Our holiday workshops give students more time than a single term allows. Each one focuses on a specific outcome — building a first speech, preparing for a competition, or developing a particular skill like storytelling or debating.
Groups are small (maximum 8 students), days run 9:00am–3:00pm, and every workshop ends with students delivering their speech to an audience. Parents are welcome to attend.
Workshops are available for students Year 2–12, matched to skill level. If you're not sure which workshop suits your child, get in touch and we'll point you in the right direction.
WORKSHOP TYPES
Foundational Skills For students new to public speaking. Students write, rehearse, and deliver a short speech on the day — to an audience of parents at the close of the session.
Competition Preparation For students with a competition coming up. We focus on structure, delivery, and the habits that cost marks. By the end of day one, they have a speech that's ready to perform.
Storytelling Skills A workshop built around narrative — how to find a story worth telling and deliver it in a way that lands.
Debating Practical An introduction to structured debating — argument building, rebuttal, and thinking on your feet.
