End of Term Note to Parents
Hi parents, finalising Term 3 dates. I’ve assumed you are continuing but please confirm, or advise if you need to move to another class. I’ve put a schedule of the other classes noting the description and suggested age ranges.
This term will run 10 weeks commencing Week 1, Monday 20 July through to Sunday 27 September. Cost per child is: $350 however, confirm by Friday 3rd July for the continuation discount of $320 on the weekly classes.
Term 2’s debating focus was fun but challenging and for Term 3 we will return to speech fundamentals with a focus on family life.
If you have any feedback from the term please feel free to contact me, if you have a 5 star review, please help me by adding it to: https://g.page/r/CQwbveNv7SD1EBM/review
And of course, if you have friends or family with kids who would benefit from improved communication please put them in touch!
Report Cards
I’m preparing end of term report cards which will look at the strengths and improvement areas for each kid and what we’ll focus on for them these will be sent individually for the end of term.
Changes for Term 3
Class Summaries
I have Annan one of our older students working with me and we’ve been trialling lesson summaries which will aid with transparency of key lesson takeaways and homework. Will look at a simple delivery system which is easy to keep up to date.
AI Homework Pilot
I’m implementing an AI system where the kids can use to rate their homework on specific fundamentals like pace, vocal variation, gestures, structure etc. There are 15 places for this so please let me know if you would like to be part of this. Note: Preference will go to kids who are currently completing their homework! 😊
Monthly classes
Changes to the Monthly lessons, we will now hold them 8am Sundays on the following dates. These classes are mainly set around skill maintenance for older kids who are unable to commit to the weekly cadence. Link to the Monthly class schedule
